Welcome to our newest team member, Orlando.

We are excited to welcome Dr Orlando Mein to our wonderful Your Body Osteopathy family. We look forward to learning and growing together to be the best Osteopaths we can be.

Check out a little bit more about Orlando in his profile below or on our website.

Dr. Orlando Mein  BHlthSc BAppSc(Osteo)

Orlando is a Melbourne local, growing up in the inner eastern suburb of Balwyn and later Warrandyte. Following high school Orlando received an athletic scholarship to study and play collegiate-level basketball in Northern Albert, Canada.

During his three years abroad he was exposed to high-level physiotherapists, athletic trainers and coaches. It was this exposure that sparked an interest in the human body and the health industry. Orlando completed his five years of study

at RMIT university obtaining his osteopathic qualification. During this time he completed placements in the RMIT student clinic as well as spent a semester treating in a Bendigo osteopathic clinic where he saw a large number of patients.

Orlando enjoys treating all conditions but is keenly interested in treating patients with chronic

health conditions being a type-1 diabetic himself. Discovering how to best manage his condition during high-level sport and knowing all about the ups and downs of dealing with a chronic condition on an everyday basis gives him a unique practitioner perspective. Outside the clinic Orlando enjoys staying active outdoors; going on many walks and hikes. He also enjoys the Melbourne music scene going to lots of events as well as DJing around town.
